The following guides are in windows help format. You can configure your browser's help applications to recognize the .hlp extension. You can also run the guides by double clicking the file name in either windows 3.1 file manager or windows 95 explorer. As an alternative to this you may also run the guides from the DOS prompt while in windows by entering the following commands:

Tip: If you are using netscape navigator you can configure you browser to recognize windows help documents as follows: 1) Select (O)ptions and then (G)eneral Preferences. 2) Click the helper applications tab 3) Click "create new type" 4) For the mime type you can enter "windows helpfile" and for the subtype you can enter "hlp files" 4) For the file extension enter ".hlp" and for the action choose "launch the application" 5) You can then browse to find the location of your winhelp.exe file (which will probably be found in either your windows directory or your windows/system directory) or you can just enter the dos path to the winhelp.exe file
